HR Manager (startup plant in Singapore)

Reporting directly to Singapore Plant Manager, and Regional HR director, he/she will be the first Singapore HR hire for a major MNC corporation. As such he/she must
1. Possess strong iniatives and flexible enough to wear multiple hats on top of HR function
2. Able to roll out the sleaves and deploy new HR systems and processes
3. Possess strong people management especially of blue collar workers skillsets
4. Ability to pick up business operational knowledge
5. Ideal candidate would be a strong resource manager. He/She can be someone who is currently a engineer (fabrication or safety) but who would like to branch into the HR function
6. Somebody bright and shows potential to grow into a Regional HR manager
He/She will responsible for
1. initial recruitment of hires up to 35 people including specialist fabricators (with ITC, NTC skillset), and admin support staff
2. supporting HR functions from resource management, workplace safety guidelines, payroll verification, leave administration, recruitment and other supporting HR functions
